Tanisha Jackland – Hoard the Fire

June 30, 2014 | By | 3 Replies More

then they blamed it
on the moon
Those who have become
endangered and rare
They will take our fire
if we sit here exiled
consuming each other
Let’s not brine our wounds
like we have nothing left

Powerful poem – you “shout out” against the cycle of letting others take what is ours – good exhortation to take back one’s own power!
